Rondo Business Park is an A class office centre in Kraków, Poland. The office complex designed by Ingarden & Ewý Architects architecture atelier has 15 floors and in terms of composition, it consists of three interconnected vertical blocks, of different form, colour and height.
From the west a curved aluminium façade, from the south a glass façade, from the north-east two ceramic planes forming a corner.
This classic compositional triad, applied to vertical solids, aims to diversify the views of the building from individual sides to enhance its importance as a landmark for the entire area. From the east it appears as an orange object with solid brick walls and horizontally cut windows with modernist proportions, from the south it changes into a dark blue glass cuboid, from the west the composition is completed by an aluminium aerodynamic form with external blinds.
The façade of the Rondo Business Park office building was made of Pilkington Insulight™ Sun insulating glass units with 8 mm Pilkington Solar-E™ T toughened solar control low-e glass.
In the non-transparent parts of the façade, Pilkington Spandrel Glass IGUs were used made of 8 mm Pilkington Solar-E™ T and enamelled glass.
