Ringvägen 100 in Stockholm, Sweden

The Project
Ringvägen 100 is an office building at Skanstull in Stockholm. Owned by Skandia Estates the building offers modern offices for more than 500 people.

The new reception & café in a form of a small kiosk was designed by 2BK Arkitekter AB. It has been moved from the back of the building to the open space in front of the block's entrance from Ringvägen 100. The new location creates a natural meeting point for tenants and visitors, while attracting and populating the estate.

The top-hung shutters of the kiosk act as a screen in open position but can be closed when reception is unmanned. The lower part of the kiosk is covered with Pilkington Mirropane™ Chrome Plus and the upper with Pilkington Mirropane™ Chrome Spy to provide transparency from the inside through the open shutters. Also, one side wall of the entrance hall is covered with Pilkington Mirropane™ Chrome Spy.
