Project information: The client opted for Pilkington Activ™ Blue self-cleaning glass as the outer pane and Pilkington K Glass™ for the inner pane. The Pilkington Activ™ Blue insulating units with Pilkington K Glass™ are perfect for conservatory roofs and glass structures; as they combine dual-action, self-cleaning properties with solar control performance.

This four bedroom detached property has been extended by building a bespoke glass conservatory, fitting a large modern kitchen and dining area, and creating a large, airy living and entertaining space.

Build and Installation:  The owners drew up the design themselves and worked with a frame supplier taking advice about the most suitable glass to use, as this was key to the project. They then employed a local builder to build the conservatory. The new space has transformed the way the owners use their whole house, providing them with a bright and airy room which can be used all year around.
