The Dubai Autodrome is a 3.5 mile circuit and is said to be one of the most modern in the world. It contains six different configurations, designed to allow three racing circuits to operate at the same time safely and independent of one another. Each configuration contains a combination of high-speed straights and technical corners.
Among the buildings located within the Autodrome, the Marketing Building was designed to give a feeling of movement and balance with the track infrastructure. The Marketing Building features both Pilkington Optifloat™ Blue-Green and Pilkington Energy Advantage™.
Pilkington Optifloat™ Blue-Green offers the building good daylight transmittance which lowers the need for artificial lighting while providing a low UV transmittance to protect building interiors from the harmful rays. Pilkington Energy Advantage™ combined with the Pilkington Optifloat™ Blue-Green helps to provide the building with good solar control. This combined with the low emissivity properties of Pilkington Energy Advantage™ aids in energy efficiency and lowering energy costs for the building.
