A comfortable and modern holiday home on the island of Vlieland, Netherlands was built for a big family, their friends and relatives. This summer house has a high roof and three storeys. Its ground floor is almost completely glazed offering a panoramic view on the dune landscape.
The glazing contractor D&O Bouwglas installed triple insulating glass units Pilkington Insulight™ Protect Triple in wooden frames. The units are made of Pilkington Optitherm™ S3 low-emissivity glass and Pilkington Optilam™ laminated safety glass. Such unit structure not only protects the interior against heat loss, but also ensures the safety of residents.
