Hotel Pullman Montparnasse, Paris, France

The Project
After 3 years of renovation, the Pullman Paris Montparnasse hotel – near Montparnasse train station and in the heart of the Ateliers Gaîté – will soon re-open its doors. Thanks to the new design, the hotel will have 3 floors specially dedicated to events, as well as a 740 m² plenary hall and 800 m² of private terraces. A rooftop bar with a view of Paris will also be installed on the 32nd floor of the tower, reaching a height of 115 m. Ultimately, in terms of accommodation, 957 new rooms will be waiting for guests, including 458 Deluxe rooms and 487 Twin rooms. They will occupy the hotel floors from 8 to 32.

Pullman Montparnasse's 957 rooms are designed as continuous and open spaces, allowing the bathroom to open up to the bedroom. The partition, made entirely of Pilkington Mirropane™ Chrome Plus 8 mm toughened mirrored glass, consists of an open cupboard and glass doors. This set of mirrors reflects the window which offers a bird's eye view of Paris. Rendering is the most beautiful effect, limiting transparency and playing light like a mirror that reflects images in all directions.

The installation was carried out by the glazier company Anselmo – mirror makers since 1930.

The company TREMPVER has processed the 8 mm Pilkington Mirropane™ Chrome Plus glass to achieve high quality toughened panes.
