Solpark, Kleszczów, Poland

The Project
The Solpark Educational and Sports Complex in Kleszczów, designed by the NOW Architectural Office, is a facility with lots of internal glazing. These internal partitions made it possible to clearly distinguish the various functions of the complex.

The construction of internal partitions was made in so called a muntin-free glazing system without visible vertical profiles. The glass specified for this application was 12 mm Pilkington Optifloat™ Clear T toughened safety glass with aesthetic elegant screen printing.

Full-height glass walls with a height of 3 metres are fixed at the top and bottom. On the glass at a height of 1.5 meters, a 10-centimeter strip of small bright dots was screen printed. Such a manifestation on the glass ensures that the glass is easy to see and prevents potential accidents, i.e. prevents people from walking into it.

Such glass structures allow for the optical enlargement of the interior of the building, and at the same time provide possibility of separating various functions over a large space.
