The Audi store, which has been opened near Helsinki-Vantaa Airport, has been designed in accordance with the completely new Audi concept. It combines the valuable car brand and architecture in which dynamism and transparency are the determining factors.
The Audi building is cube-shaped, further emphasizing the shop windows. The large glass surfaces of the showroom space extend from floor to ceiling. The Pilkington Suncool™ 70/35 which is the most transparent product from the high-performance solar control glass range has been chosen as the most suitable type for this application.
This solar control glass has also been used in the second part of the building in combination with Pilkington Spandrel Glass E 120 in spandrel areas as the two are very close in appearance.
