Peccioli is a small medieval village in the Era Valley, in the province of Pisa. It is one of the tourist towns in Tuscany, which contains reminiscences of Italian history.
In this characteristic place, there is Palazzo Senza Tempo – the palace designed by Mario Cucinella. This prestigious historic building has undergone a significant quality renovation. The redevelopment works of an area of 2,500 square meters were completed in July 2021. The newly reconstructed area can be used as a meeting place for cultural activities and services for the community, intervening through a work of redevelopment and restoration of 15th century buildings.
Within this enhancement work, a 600 square meters terrace with an overhang of about 20 meters from the ground was created that became a spectacular square suspended over the valley. It dominates the wonderful landscape of the Valdera.
Various types of glass made of Pilkington Optiwhite™ were used for the construction of the various glass parts. The skylights and large windows are composed of sound insulation and low emissivity laminated safety glass Pilkington Optiphon™ Therm S1A OW and Pilkington Optilam™ OW to provide acoustic and energy comfort inside the rooms and protection of these from any accidental blows or acts of vandalism. In addition, an extra-clear glass based products, ensure greater entry of natural light into the building, allowing to reduce lighting costs.
The Palazzo Senza Tempo, thanks to all the improvements, became a very modern place, designed and built with the most up-to-date technical solutions, possible today.
