Eventyrlig Oppussing is a popular renovation TV show in Norway.
In one of the autumn's episodes, the audience of this popular program had an opportunity to see an impressive building, with a significant contribution provided by Pilkington Norge AS under the auspices of the Glassfagkjeden glass trade chain.
In this episode that took place on Harøya island just outside Råkvåg in Indre Fosen municipality, a bolted glass railing was installed in a barn that is used mostly in the summer by the extended family.
The audience saw an impressive building with a significant contribution of glass that was delivered by air to the idyllic island. Glazier Robert Nøsen and his team from Riis Glass og Metall AS were responsible for the design and assembly of the delivery.
The glass used in the balustrade and the railing was Pilkington
Optilam™ Clear T toughened, laminated safety glass of 10 mm thickness. A total of 15 panels, i.e. approx. 950 kg of glass were transported by helicopter and landed safely on the ground.
