Glass designer Mary Sych fitted a hexagonal greenhouse with toughened Pilkington
Mirropane™ Chrome T glass to allow the viewer various reflection displays.
The glass panes create three different reflections. On the one hand, the outside world/environment is reflected in the glass panes of the greenhouse, on the other hand, the inner world, i.e., viewers have the opportunity to enter the greenhouse, sit down or lie down. The reflection of the person in the interior is the second reflection. The third is a mental reflection: experiencing an unusual room situation, the awareness, e.g., looking outside with the door open, taking time to collect your thoughts, reflecting or even meditating.
The particularly colour-fast reflection of these mirror glass products ensures the best possible representation of the surroundings. Thanks to the off-line coating, the Pilkington
Mirropane™ Chrome mirror continues to impress with its high resistance to corrosion and moisture.
The exhibit was manufactured in close cooperation with our partner Glas Strack Innovations from Bochum and presented to the public for the first time at the 12th International Exhibition "GLASS PLASTIK UND GARTEN".
Visitors to the exhibition enjoyed the special presentation of the object and the many possible uses of Pilkington glass products.
