Boss Gloss in Finland is a state-of-the-art car wash network equipped with cutting-edge technology.
The Boss Gloss, located in Linnainmaa, Tampere, is the newest and most modern addition to the car wash chain. The laundry is a unique and stylish car wash loaded with the best possible washing technology and made easy to use.
The design of the sophisticated complex was carried out by the architectural studio BST Arkkitehdit. The investment in the new car wash accounted for around three million euros.
Triple glazed insulated glass units were made by the glass processor Lasiliiri Oy.
The glazing consists of several functional glass products arranged as follows:
Pilkington Suncool Optilam™ 70/35 8,8 (laminated glass) – 16 mm Argon - 6 mm Pilkington Optitherm™ S1N - 16 mm Argon - 6 mm Pilkington OptiShower™ T (toughened glass).
The glass combination provides high performance solar control thanks to Pilkington Suncool™ coating and efficient thermal insulation. In addition, Pilkington OptiShower™ used as a glass pane facing the car wash helps to keep windows clean.
Pilkington OptiShower™ is an anti-corrosion glass, particularly suitable for use in environments exposed to moisture. It remains clear due to its transparent pyrolytic coating and is easy to clean.
