The Fragment Paravento screen was presented at the Salone del Mobile, held in Milan from 18 to 23 April 2023, at the Glas Italia stand.
Designed and engineered by the Nendo studio, it is made up of two reflective glass panels connected by a brushed aluminum frame. The slabs feature a decoration that alternates transparency and reflection of the glass.
The screen is made of Pilkington Mirropane™ Chrome Plus – a glass with highly resistant chromium-based mirror coating, with reflective appearance on both sides. The coating is partially removed by laser but only in the desired areas. It creates a play of mirrored reflections, coverings and transparency, achieving the designers’ objective.
