The Karisma shopping center in Karisto, Lahti, Finland, officially opened on Thursday, November 3, 2011. It is located in Lahti, along Highway 4, near the Karisto wooded district.
Developed by Kesko, the shopping center spans approximately 33,500 square metres of leasable space and houses 76 stores, including major retailers such as K-Citymarket, Intersport, and Kookenkä. It was one of Kesko’s largest retail projects at the time and marked the company's first fully planned and constructed shopping center.
The architect responsible for designing the Karisma shopping center in Karisto, Lahti, Finland, was Arkkitehtitoimisto Innovarch Oy, led by architect Rainer Linderborg.
For the interior design, the project involved Selja Peltonen, an interior architect SIO, also from Innovarch.
Pilkington Lahden Lasitehdas supplied Pilkington Optifloat™ Grey body tinted glass and Pilkington Optilam™ Clear laminated safety glass.
