Zaułek Piękna Office Building, Warsaw, Poland

The Project

Zaułek Piękna, also known as Deloitte House, is a modern office building with a service part on the ground floor at 18 Piękna Street in Warsaw.

The building is an investment project by Ghelamco Poland and was designed by Ludwik Konior, an architect from Konior & Partners Architects, in cooperation with Atelier 2 Architekci.

Its façade is made of glass, stainless steel, and natural stone. The open-plan interior allows for the functional arrangement of office space to suit the individual needs of tenants. The high-quality finishes guarantee comfortable working conditions. Storey-high windows ensure an optimal flow of natural daylight and beautiful views.

The glazed north-facing façade has floor-to-ceiling windows, providing good access to daylight. It uses the Pilkington Planar™* structural glazing system with a glass fin support structure.

Full height windows are made of 10 mm Pilkington Optifloat™ Clear THS clear float glass combined with 6 mm Pilkington K Glass™ THS low emissivity glass. Both panes were toughened and heat-soak tested.

Glass fins were made of 19 mm Pilkington Optifloat™ Clear THS toughened and heat-soak tested glass.

Two types of fitting were used for the glass support: 902 DG stainless steel fittings and standard stainless steel spring plates.

* Please note that the Pilkington Planar™ system used in this project has been withdrawn from our product range.
