Rabobank Gouwestreek, Gouda, the Netherlands

The Project
A new office building has been constructed for Rabobank Gouwestreek in Gouda. Its four existing Gouda branches have been merged into a single, multifunctional building. It has been built by Dura Vermeer Bouw Zuid West B.V. and designed by Kraaijvanger Architects.

The Gouda office is one of the most sustainable buildings in the city. It is a lively meeting place and contemporary workplace for employees. This BREEAM-certified building features the latest sustainable technologies.

Various types of insulating glass units have been used: These include Pilkington Insulight™ Therm with Pilkington Optitherm™ S1 low emissivity glass and Pilkington Insulight™ Therm with Pilkington Optitherm™ S3, which are both used in combination with laminated glass Pilkington Optilam™. The corners of the building are made of curved glass. The total area is 1,300 m². The façade was realised by our customer, Facédo.
