The new Microsoft headquarters in Munich-Schwabing is one of the most modern working environments in Germany. It embodies the idea of a networked working world, offering optimal opportunities for teamwork, greater self-determination and productivity, and a high degree of flexibility.
The offices' floor-to-ceiling glazed windows ensure brightness and transparency, while meeting all summer heat protection requirements. Pilkington Suncool™ 66/33 high performance solar control glass, used in triple glazed insulating glass units, creates a comfortable indoor climate. The combination of glass with noise control properties on the motorway side ensures undisturbed, quiet working.
The building has been awarded the ‘Platinum’ certification by the Green Building Certification Institute's LEED system.
