Laxenburger BT8 is a large residential complex located in Vienna's 10th district, consisting of six buildings. The complex features a distinctive design with a green tiled façade and gold-coloured balcony elements, making it a notable landmark.
Pilkington Austria supplied the gold-coloured parapet glazing Pilkington Optilam™ DesignPrint 16,8, which covers approximately 350 square meters.
The glass was digitally printed and then processed into laminated safety glass. A key challenge in this project was the colour selection and the printing process, as a seamless gradient was required.
After an extensive design and sampling phase, the customer was pleased with the final result.
