Thales Nederlands' former headquarters in Hengelo have been replaced by a brand new, state-of-the-art campus. Comprising four buildings, the new campus brings Thales Nederlands’ large workforce together in the Shared Facility Centre. Office spaces are located in the Office Centre, while the BB&S building houses a brand-new laboratory. The fourth building serves as a warehouse.
Pilkington Nederland was commissioned to supply the glazing, and the choice fell on Pilkington Insulight™ Therm insulating glass units with Pilkington Optitherm™ S3 low emissivity glass, which provides good thermal insulation. Some of the glass panes are fitted with a Vanceva® film that preserves transparency and has a yellow tint.
