On 6 September 2017, the eye of Hurricane Irma passed over Sint Maarten, leaving destruction in its wake.
A year later, construction of this beautiful holiday home, which boasts stunning views of the Caribbean Sea, was completed.
As Sint Maarten has predominantly sunny weather, the client opted to install Pilkington Insulight™ insulated glass units with ScreenLine® blinds in six windows.
The blinds between the glass panes can be operated using a cord to adjust the amount of sunlight and privacy in the holiday home, much to the client’s satisfaction.
This project was carried out by Innova Geveltechniek B.V, and the insulated glass was supplied by Pilkington Nederland.
