A new laminated reflective glass with guaranteed performance was used to create an entire glazed wall within a private residence.
Thanks to the reflective appearance provided by the double chrome coating embedded within the PVB interlayer, Pilkington Mirropane Optilam™ Chrome enhances the perception of interior space while ensuring it is safe to use. This is thanks to the product's certified safety performance in accordance with EN 12600 ‒ a defining feature of laminated glass.
The mirrored wall, which measures 3 × 5 metres, has been enhanced with a 15 mm perimeter bevel to add an elegant decorative touch. Not only is the product highly convenient for glass processors as it has no outer surface coatings, it is also extremely easy to maintain. Cleaning the mirrored wall is as simple as cleaning conventional float glass, ensuring long-term practicality alongside aesthetic appeal.
