Built in the 1930s, the Riis Park Fieldhouse is a historically significant building within the Chicago Park District and contributes to the park’s certification on the National Register of Historic Places.
In 2021, work began on the Riis Park Fieldhouse Improvements project, which included replacing the windows. Utilizing Pilkington Spacia™ allowed the original steel window frames to be preserved, while replacing the panes with energy-efficient vacuum double glazing.
