N.A.M.E. at University of Michigan

The Project

The Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering Hydrodynamics (N.A.M.E.) Lab at University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI was recently renovated. The renovations included a historic timeline in which images provided by the Bentley Historical Library were printed onto 41 panels of 3/8” Pilkington Arctic Blue™ that spans approximately 180’. The glass is then backlit for a modern eye-catching look.

The timeline was designed and printed by IMAGIO Glass Design out of Sterling Height, MI and the glass was fabricated by Wolverine Glass Products out of Grand Rapids, MI.
